About the Role

We are currently seeking a skilled Restoration & Renovation Technician to join our growing team. This role is focused primarily on larger project-based work rather than small day-to-day handyman service calls.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in residential construction, finishing work, and general renovations, with the ability to complete a variety of tasks to a high standard.

Responsibilities

  • Complete renovation and repair work on residential and commercial projects
  • Perform drywall installation, repairs, mudding, taping, and sanding
  • Complete interior painting and finishing work
  • Install flooring including vinyl plank, laminate, and tile
  • Install doors, trim, baseboards, and other finish carpentry items
  • Perform general carpentry and framing tasks as required
  • Complete minor plumbing repairs and fixture installations
  • Maintain clean and organized job sites
  • Communicate professionally with customers, team members, and management
  • Follow company safety procedures and maintain quality workmanship standards
  • Assist with insurance restoration and rebuild projects as required

Qualifications

  • Experience in renovations, construction, restoration, or related trades
  • Strong working knowledge of drywall, carpentry, painting, flooring installation, and finishing work
  • Ability to work independently and problem-solve on-site
  • High attention to detail and pride in workmanship
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to lift materials and perform physical work throughout the day
  • Experience in insurance restoration is considered an asset
  • Trade certifications are an asset but not required

  • Overtime may be required depending on project schedules and emergency work
  • Out of town work may be required depending on project schedules

Pay: $27.00-$32.00 per hour
