Currently we are in need of a Team Lead. This technician position may be filled with the understanding of quickly learning and progressing to a Team Lead position for someone with the right experience and willingness to advance.
About Us:
Based in Sidney (but looking to expand!) we are a tight-knit team of 4 looking to add another skilled and motivated crew member! Our renovation company takes on a wide range of projects—from quick fence repairs to full bathroom overhauls. No two days are the same, and creative problem-solving is a must. We pride ourselves on having a supportive work environment where everyone is valued.
Position Summary:
The Renovation Technician performs skilled trade work across a range of small renovation and repair projects. This position requires the ability to take direction from Team Leads, as well as work independently on drywall, tile, painting, trim, flooring, and related tasks. Technicians are expected to maintain quality craftsmanship, communicate clearly on job sites, and assist team leads as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with material handling, site setup, and cleanup.
- Perform demolition and prep work.
- Use hand and power tools safely and independently.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Follow direction from team leads.
- Complete assigned renovation tasks with minimal supervision.
- Read and follow work orders, drawings, or job plans.
- Apply a range of trade skills (drywall repair, flooring, tiling, carpentry, etc.).
- Maintain tools and equipment in good condition.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in residential renovations, or 3+ years in related trades.
- Competency in at least two or more of the following: drywall, tile, paint, trim, flooring, carpentry.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and willingness to work towards a Team Lead position.
- Hand and power tool experience and knowledge.
- Valid Driver’s license (required)
- Personal vehicle for reliable transportation to various job sites, and to be able to transport tools and supplies if needed (required).
- Physically fit and capable of lifting, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.
- Background check (required).
