Night Auditor / Front Desk (Overnight Shift) – Halifax Airport Hotel

About the Role

Halifax Airport Hotel is looking for a Night Auditor / Front Desk (Overnight Shift) to join overnight team.

This role combines front desk guest service and night audit responsibilities, which is a great fit for someone who enjoys steady night shifts and likes keeping things organized while providing warm, attentive service to our guests. You’ll help wrap up the day’s operations, assist guests with late arrivals or early departures, and make sure everything runs smoothly for the morning team.

As a Night Auditor, you’ll ensure smooth overnight operations by managing guest inquiries, balancing daily reports, and preparing the hotel for the next day.

What You’ll Do

· Manage front desk duties during the overnight hours, including check-ins and check-outs.

· Perform nightly audits of financial transactions and ensure accuracy in reporting.

· Handle payments, guest inquiries, and late-night requests with professionalism and care.

· Keep the front desk area tidy and welcoming.

· Work independently while maintaining great communication with other departments.

· Assist with administrative tasks as required, including data entry and filing.

Who You Are

· Hotel or front desk experience is an asset, but not required — we’re happy to train the right person!

· Strong guest service and communication skills.

· Comfortable working independently overnight.

· Detail-oriented, organized, and professional.

· Bilingualism or multilingualism considered an asset.

Schedule

· Overnight shifts: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM

· Full-time, 40 hours per week

· Weekend and holiday availability is required

Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Canada (valid work permit, PR, or citizenship).

Please note that this role is not eligible for employer-based immigration sponsorship.

Candidates must be able to commute to Goffs (Halifax Airport area).
