Bourque Industrial Ltd. located in Saint John NB is a privately owned custom fabrication welding shop and field services provider, celebrating 70 years of quality workmanship, certified by the Canadian Welding Bureau(CWB) for the welding of carbon steel, stainless steel and aluminum as well registered with the Province of New Brunswick Public Safety Department for the construction, repair and /or alteration of pressure vessel items to ASME VIII, B31.1,31.3 &CSA B51, is currently accepting resumes for Metal Prep Operators for a fast paced working environment.

Our customer base includes power generation, petroleum refining, process equipment and structural steel industries.

Responsibilities of the Metal Prep Operator position will include but not be limited to:

· Operate metalworking machinery and power tools

· Measure and mark metal according to templates and drawings

· Work independently

· High commitment to safe working procedures

The ideal candidate will have the following:

· Experience in Metals Preparation Machinery

· Experience at reading & interpreting shop drawings & specifications

· WHIMIS certificate
