Machine Operator

BizLink elocab Ltd. (“BizLink Canada”), is located in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada, and provides custom designed cable solutions for the Industrial and Healthcare markets.

We have an immediate opening for a machine operator.

Responsibilities:

· Inspection of machine centre equipment, process and materials.

· Read, setup and follow production paperwork to produce quality cable.

· Propose a solution if a process does not work and able to justify solution.

· Continuously improve the process.

· Operation of forklift may be required (certification required).

· Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

· Maintain and update production instructions.

· Data entry for ERP system recording of inventory, production completion, etc.

· Follow and comply with all corporate rules and instructions, including Code of Ethics, all safety rules and processes and company policies and processes

Skills and Qualifications:

· High School Diploma

· Fast learner and self reliance with great attention to detail

· Mechaniucal aptitude and able to read and follow production paperwork

· Mathematical skills

· Able to prblem solve and react quickly and safely

· Organization skills in a fast paced environment

· Capable of multi-tasking while operating specialized machinery

· Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

· Willing and able to work 8 hour, weekly rotating shifts, (6:00 am - 2:30 pm & 2:30 pm - 11:00 pm) Monday to Friday

$21.00 per hour to start, $22.00 after 3 months

Full-time, Permanent
