Liquor Store Clerk

Job Overview

Lighthouse Liquor Store is looking for full and part-time clerks.

We are seeking friendly, responsible, motivated and dependable individuals to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service and contribute to the store operating smoothly.

Duties

• Greet customers and assist them with their shopping needs
• Operate POS systems accurately for sales transactions and cash handling
• Verify ID in line with BC Liquor law
• Restock shelves, rotate inventory and maintain organized merchandise displays
• Keep the store clean, organized, and well-maintained throughout the shift

Requirements

• Must be at least 19 years old
• Hold a current Serving it Right Certificate
• Strong communication skills
• Previous experience in retail sales, merchandising, or cashiering preferred
• Customer service-oriented mindset with friendly interpersonal skills
• Able to lift up to 40lb and spend extended periods on your feet
• Good phone etiquette and professional demeanor
• Able to work a flexible schedule; Evenings, Weekends, Holidays
