Qscapes Lawn Care & Landscaping is a growing lawn care and landscape maintenance company serving residential and commercial properties in the Newmarket and Aurora area. We take pride in delivering reliable, high-quality service and maintaining professional standards.
We are currently looking for a reliable Lawn Care Crew Lead to help manage daily service routes and lead a small maintenance crew.
Position Overview
The Lawn Care Crew Lead is responsible for driving company vehicles with trailers, managing a small crew, and ensuring lawn maintenance services are completed safely, efficiently, and to company standards.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, operating equipment, and taking leadership responsibility on job sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive company truck and trailer to and from job sites
- Lead and supervise a small lawn care crew during daily service routes
- Perform lawn maintenance including mowing, trimming, edging, and blowing debris
- Operate commercial landscaping equipment including stand-on mowers, self-propelled mowers, trimmers, and blowers
- Ensure jobs are completed efficiently according to daily schedules
- Maintain safe work practices and ensure crew members follow company procedures
- Perform basic equipment checks and report maintenance issues
- Communicate with management regarding property conditions or service needs
- Maintain a professional appearance and attitude when interacting with clients
Requirements
- Valid G-class driver's license
- Ability to tow a trailer safely (additional training will be provided)
- Clean driver’s abstract required
- Police background check required
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Strong reliability and punctuality
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous lawn care or landscaping experience
- Experience operating commercial lawn equipment
- Experience leading or supervising a small crew

- Occasional longer days during peak growing season
