Are you a hands-on problem-solver with a passion for keeping machinery running smoothly? We're looking for an Industrial Mechanic to play a key role in maintaining and repairing equipment in our fast-paced manufacturing environment. In this role, you’ll work closely with the maintenance team to troubleshoot issues, perform regular inspections, and ensure our mechanical systems operate efficiently and safely—with minimal downtime. Essential duties & responsibilities:

  • Perform preventive maintenance on industrial machinery to minimize downtime and ensure efficient operation.
  • Inspect and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to diagnose and resolve issues promptly.
  • Repair or replace mechanical components such as bearings, belts, gears, motors, and pumps.
  • Disassemble, clean, and reassemble equipment to maintain or restore proper functionality.
  • Assist with the installation and calibration of new machines and equipment.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and part replacements.
  • Follow all safety protocols and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Collaborate with the maintenance and production teams to support smooth operations and meet production targets.
  • Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns and equipment malfunctions.
  • Recommend improvements to equipment and processes to enhance productivity and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • This is a hybrid role that involves presence both at the workplace and at client locations.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an industrial mechanic or millwright in a manufacturing or industrial setting
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Commitment to workplace safety and preventative maintenance practices
  • Comfortable working in confined spaces, elevated positions, and various environmental conditions (e.g., heat, noise)
