Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated carpenter for residential and small commercial construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
• Manage and motivate construction workers and subcontractors on site
• Perform a variety of carpentry tasks including framing, installing doors and windows, exterior finishes and other related duties
• Assist with structural tasks as needed throughout the construction process
• Resolve any on-site issues or conflicts
• Maintain a clean and organized work site
• Ensure quality control and adherence to project specifications

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Site Supervisor or in a similar supervisory role will be considered an asset
• Extensive knowledge of construction procedures, framework, carpentry, equipment, and OSHA guidelines
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and drawings
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Excellent problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
• Valid driver’s license
• Commercial experience will be considered an asset
