Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated Apprentice Automotive Technician to join our dynamic dealership team. This entry-level position offers hands-on experience in automotive repair and maintenance, providing a solid foundation for a future career as a skilled technician. The role involves working closely with experienced technicians to develop technical skills, understand vehicle systems, and deliver excellent customer service. Duties

• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections
• Use hand tools, power tools, and schematics to disassemble and reassemble vehicle components
• Follow safety protocols during all repair activities, including heavy lifting and equipment operation
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safety and efficiency
• Learn to interpret technical manuals and schematics to aid in troubleshooting
• Collaborate with team members to complete repairs efficiently while providing excellent customer service

Skills

• Basic mechanical knowledge with an interest in automotive repair and maintenance
• Experience with hand tools, power tools, and schematics is preferred but not required
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work on vehicles for extended periods
• Dealership experience or mechanic experience is a plus but not mandatory for entry-level candidates
• Strong customer service skills to effectively communicate with clients about vehicle issues and repairs
• Familiarity with welding, assembly, and general maintenance tasks is advantageous
• Willingness to learn new skills, including reading schematics and operating specialized equipment

Pay: $16.94-$33.33 per hour
