About us

Zebiak House Raising Ltd. have been raising houses since 1951.

We are seeking a hard-working and committed full-time Excavator Operator to join our team. We are looking for a positive, high-energy person to join our busy team.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Experience in operating excavators to dig trenches, foundations, and other structures is an asset; however full training will be provided to any successful applicant with machinery experience.
  • Follow safety regulations and procedures while operating the excavator.
  • Maintain the excavator and ensure it is in good working condition and perform regular maintenance checks on the excavator.
  • Transport materials to and from the job site.
  • Load and unload materials from the excavator.

The successful candidate must be able to:

  • Work under the supervision of a foreman at job sites throughout Vancouver and Burnaby.
  • Set a high standard for quality of work that helps to elevate the skills of the rest of the Excavation Team. Be self-motivated with an ability to independently and as part of a team.
  • Operate as a productive member of a high-functioning team to drive high-quality results.
  • Be available to work shifts beginning at 7:00 am from Monday through Saturday. (overtime work is often required depending on completion timelines).
  • Follow health and safety standards.
  • Communicate in English, both verbally and written.
  • Be able to carry up to 50lbs
  • Valid Class 5 or Class 3 driver's license an asset

Must be eligible to work in Canada for any employer. Competitive salary based on experience.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $29.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
