Overview

The Cat’s Meow is Toronto’s iconic boutique for Vintage Couture & Modern Luxury consignment since 2006. We curate, source and authenticate high-quality, pre-owned products from luxury brands such as Hermès, Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Prada and Chanel and sell them to our customers in Yorkville & online. We also specialize in beautiful vintage dresses and accessories spanning from the 1940’s-1990’s. The shop serves a wide, diverse clientele. From discerning vintage collectors to teens on the hunt for their first prom dress. It has become a “first stop” for industry insiders, designers, film/television, press & media stylists all searching for inspiration.

Following our steady growth, we are looking for a highly energetic, responsible, and experienced ecommerce and retail associate. The ideal candidate will seamlessly manage our website product listings, photography and editing with the ability to pivot into retail sales when needed. Duties

Create, upload, and maintain accurate product listings on thecatsmeow.com, including titles, descriptions, pricing, and images
Capturing Stunning Visuals : Styling new stock to purrrfection, photographing and editing for our e-commerce platform.
Ability to take accurate measurements of garments and accessories.
Ensure listings meet brand and quality standards.
Assist with maintaining online inventory accuracy, availability, and product categorization.
Support order processing, fulfillment coordination, and customer inquiries related to online purchases
updates to promotions, pricing changes, and featured collections
Help maintain consistency between in-store inventory and online listings
Provide friendly, knowledgeable customer service on the sales floor including answering phone calls and emails.
Support visual merchandising, restocking, POS transactions, and daily store operations.
Assist with basic reporting, troubleshooting listing issues, and resolving discrepancies

Skills

Background in the fashion industry a must with the ability to sew considered an asset.
Minimum 2+ years of experience with ecommerce and the WooCommerce platform.
Proven track record of producing beautifully captured photographs/images.
Experience with Photoshop image editing.
Minimum 1 year fashion retail experience.
Strong communication skills, including active listening and clear verbal interaction.
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in maintaining displays and inventory.
Time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy periods.
Customer service-oriented mindset with a friendly demeanor and professional phone etiquette.
Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
Previous work in a consignment environment considered an asset.
