General work activities:

  • Develop and execute the IT strategy to support the organization's growth and client needs.
  • Provide visionary leadership and guidance to the IT team, fostering a culture of excellence.
  • Define and document IT services, maintain the service catalog, and ensure that services are designed to meet business requirements.
  • Oversee the day-to-day delivery of IT services, ensuring service levels, availability, and performance meet or exceed agreed-upon standards.
  • Manage the planning and execution of changes to IT services, ensuring minimal disruption to users and business operations.
  • Identify areas for service improvement, set improvement targets, and lead initiatives to enhance service quality and efficiency.
  • Develop and execute strategies to ensure that IT services and initiatives are in line with the organization's financial objectives.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline IT operations, reduce unnecessary costs, and maximize the return on IT investments.
  • Work with the IT budget, ensuring that resources are allocated efficiently and cost-effectively to achieve financial targets.
  • Provide mentorship and training initiatives within the IT department.
  • Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of IT systems, networks, and infrastructure.
  • Lead IT projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Collaborate with other department heads and executives to identify and prioritize technology needs.
  • Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Stay updated on emerging technology trends and assess their potential impact on the organization.


  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field; a master’s degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience in IT leadership or management roles.
  • Strong knowledge of IT systems, infrastructure, and best practices.
  • Project management and budget management skills.
  • Familiarity with IT security and compliance standards.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strategic thinking and the ability to align IT initiatives with organizational goals.
