Dream Job: Craft Beer Tour Guide – Vancouver & Fraser Valley
Do you geek out over hops and malts? Know the difference between a saison and a stout? If you’ve got a passion for craft beer (and maybe a love for BC’s local wines too), this could be the role you've been waiting for.
Canadian Craft Tours is hiring a Craft Beer Tour Guide to lead fun, informative, and well-organized beer and wine tours in Vancouver and the Fraser Valley. This part-time role blends hospitality, storytelling, and logistics—and is perfect for someone who wants to turn their love for craft beverages into a rewarding job.
Office Location: Steveston Hwy & No. 5 Road
Tour Pick-up Location: Downtown Vancouver and Lower Mainland
Schedule: 2–5 shifts per week, including Saturdays and some Sundays
What You’ll Be Doing
- Leading guided tours of BC’s top breweries, cideries, and wineries
- Creating a fun and educational experience for guests
- Building and maintaining relationships with tour venues
- Collaborating on updates to our tour routes and training manuals
- Communicating clearly with guests, drivers, and operations team
- Assisting in tour planning and logistics, including briefing drivers and guides
- Occasionally helping with expense tracking and invoice audits
- Reporting key issues and tour highlights to the team lead
What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years of experience in guiding, customer service, or the craft beer industry
- Genuine enthusiasm and knowledge of craft beer and local wine
- Excellent communication skills—both with groups and in writing
- Strong organizational habits and attention to detail
- Problem-solving mindset and a team-first attitude
- Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure
- Comfortable speaking in front of groups
- Legally entitled to work in Canada
Driver Requirements
- Valid and clean BC Class 5 driver’s license to start
- Willingness to obtain a Class 4 Unrestricted Commercial License within 2 months (We cover the cost and training)
- Note: Out-of-country and N licenses unfortunately cannot be accepted due to ICBC restrictions and wait times

- Tour Guiding: 1 year (preferred)
