About The Role

The commercial cleaner is expected to provide quality, consistent cleaning services to a variety of commercial client accounts

Responsibilities

● Detailed surface cleaning and disinfecting

● Cleaning bathrooms

● Cleaning and tidying kitchens and lunchrooms. Washing dishes as required

● Operating floor cleaning equipment such as vacuums, carpet cleaners/extractors, floor scrubbing machines, steamers, ect

● Maintaining good relationships with clients

● Maintaining a high level of confidentiality and respect for any personal or professional information acquired during working hours

● Extreme care when arming and disarming security systems when entering or leaving locations

● Keeping materials and equipment organized and tidy in appearance while working

● Loading and unloading equipment, and travel to and from working locations when required

● Maintaining cleaning equipment and supplies, and communicating when supply orders need to be made

● Laundering clothes, bags, and mopping supplies

Compensation

● Cleaning wages will be paid at a rate of $20- $23 per hour depending on the candidate

● Client satisfaction bonus. Rate to be determined per occurrence

Location & Commitment

● This is a part time position (3 - 20 hours/week) located in Fort St John

● Flexible availability is appreciated, and we are happy to accommodate your schedule

● Hours will consist of evenings, weekends and may include daytime shifts

Candidate Requirements

● Your own transportation to and from worksites

● Excellent attention to detail

● The ability to complete high quality work efficiently and in an independent work environment

● The ability to work in a team environment

● A smart phone with a data plan

● Good communication skills, and someone who knows when to ask important questions

● Generally friendly and a pleasure to be around

● Extremely reliable and committed to the position

● A criminal record check

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent, Casual

Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 3 – 20 per week
