Senior CNC Machinist

Job Description:

Signature Tool Inc. is currently seeking a motivated and reliable Full-Time CNC Machinist to join our growing team in Oldcastle, Ontario. The successful candidate must be, reliable, punctual, and take pride in producing high-quality work.

This position will focus primarily on CNC machining related to the manufacturing of indexable cutting tools. Daily work is fast paced, non-repetitive, and offers new technical challenges in a clean, safe, and friendly work environment.

This is a permanent position where we hope the right candidate can grow and succeed with our company for many years.

Duties may include (but are not limited to):

• CNC Mill 3, 4 & 5 Axis setup and operation
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings and tooling prints
• Editing and optimizing CNC programs
• Tending to multiple machines
• Inspection using measuring tools such as Vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, tool pre-setters, etc.
• Tooling modification, and assembly
• General machine maintenance
• Material handling

Requirements:

• CNC Machining experience (minimum 2 years preferred)
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to multitask
• Experience with tooling or precision machining is an asset

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00-$32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 55.0 per week
