About the Role

We are currently seeking a Clinical Therapist to join out multi-disciplinary team in St. John’s, NL. In this role, you will work closely with children, youth, families, caregivers, and service providers to support healing, resilience, and positive outcomes.

As a Clinical Therapist, you will:

  • Provide therapeutic counselling and support using a range of evidence-based and trauma-informed approaches.
  • Collaborate with caregivers, families, and professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Apply your clinical expertise and independent judgement in complex situations.
  • Design and deliver training, workshops, and educational sessions for staff, caregivers, and community partners.
  • Contribute to program development, innovation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Conduct assessments, maintain accurate clinical documentation, and prepare reports (including court documentation when required).
  • Participate in research, evaluation, and advancement of best practice in service delivery.

What You Bring

You are a compassionate, skilled clinician who shares our commitment to improving the lives of children, youth and families.

Required Qualifications:

· Master’s degree in social work or clinical/counselling psychology.

· 3-5 years of clinical experience.

· Registration and good standing with a professional regulatory body in Newfoundland and Labrador.

· Experience in areas such as child development, mental health, trauma and grief.

· Training and experience in play therapy considered an asset.

Additional Requirements:

  • Clear Certificate of Conduct and Vulnerable Sector Check.
  • Child Protection Clearance.
  • Valid Driver’s License and Driver’s Abstract.
  • Standard First Aid/CPR Certification.
  • Valid proof of ability to work in Canada.
  • Confirmation of Registration with Provincial Regulatory Body.
