Responsibilities

  • Provide vacuum services in support of daily operations.
  • Ability to develop customer loyalty.
  • Enter confined spaces as required for specific jobs.
  • Ability to work independently while managing time and productivity.
  • Communicate daily with dispatch.
  • Complete daily inspection/Pre and Post trip and determine required maintenance of vac truck
  • Follow safe driving practices, abide by all provincial/federal traffic laws. Report any violations immediately.
  • Inspection and maintain hoses, fittings, and associated equipment before use. Report any faults immediately to Supervisor.
  • Complete daily paperwork.
  • Ability to understand written and verbal directions.
  • Eligible candidate should be a team player with the ability to work well with others.
  • Excellent housekeeping skills with the ability to keep workspace tidy and clean at all times.
  • Vac experience
  • Mechanical aptitude and experience troubleshooting Vac trucks.
  • Strong customer service
  • Ability to drive to road conditions
  • Ability to perform maintenance on truck

Physical Demands of Job:

  • Driving to location, possibly long drives.
  • Loading and unloading of hoses, moving hoses while performing daily operations
  • Heavy lifting of hoses, and other equipment.

Work Conditions and Environment:

  • Exposure to temperature extremes when in the field.
  • Long physically demanding days.
  • Various locations in a day.
  • Driving in winter.
  • Gravel roads.

Work Experience;

  • 1 to 3 years operating vacuum truck.
  • 5 years driving commercial vehicles with standard transmission (required)

Safety Certificates:

  • First Aid
  • H2S
  • Confined Space
  • Fall Arrest

Language:

  • English Spoken And Written (required)

Minimum Requirement:

  • Class 3 License
  • 1 years operating vacuum truck
  • Clean 5 year commercial drivers abstract (attach with resume)
  • Wainwright Area Resident
  • Ability to pass a security clearance
  • Ability to work shift/after hours/overtime
  • Pass and maintain clean drug test

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 70 per week

Work Location: In person
