Camp Support Worker

As a Camp Support Worker, you'll be involved in a wide variety of events, entertainment and exercises designed to help kids with disabilities get the most out of summer.
Counsellors are responsible for a one-to-one relationship with their camper as well as any of their camper needs over the duration of camp (excluding medical needs).
Mandatory five-day training July 6th-10th, 2026
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30 am – 3:30 pm for five weeks. (July 6 to August 14, 2026)
Successful applicants will be:
- experienced working with people with disabilities
- enthusiastic and energetic
- flexible and patient
- must be reasonably fit as some lifting is required on occasion and some campers are very active
- Complete personal care as needed (Changes, feeding, hygiene,)
- good communication skills
- team player in a collaborative environment
The deadline for applications is April 15th, 2026. Interviews will be conducted in May. Only those selected for an interview will be contacted. All previous SPSC workers must re-apply to be considered.
Contract length: 2 months
