Casterland is hiring a Power Sports, Tire + Sales Associate to be part of our Calgary team!
The role we are hiring for will work directly with our power sports customers. This role will include both the Sales and Service side of our business, as well as participate in Purchasing + Inventory Management.
Your Day to Day:
You will work in our fast-paced, dynamic, multi-faceted retail and wholesale location. Although no two days will look exactly the same, the successful candidate will have the following responsibilities:
Sales + Customer Relations
- You will take inbound customer calls and walk-in counter sales, and be responsible for all aspects of initiating, interacting and completing a sale
- You will mount & dismount Trailer, ATV, Turf tires and complete Tube installation
- You will be responsible for developing customer relationships and maintaining those relationships (interacting with all types of customers, from the walk-in home users to commercial fabricators and maintenance operators)
- You will source appropriate products for customers, including special or custom order products and pricing appropriately
- You will learn specialized vendor cross-referencing and product sourcing strategies and ordering procedures
- You will work to keep the showroom stocked, organized and tidy
- You will assist in tasks that support the team
Your Skill Set:
- You have excellent communications skills
- You are comfortable in computerized environments
- You have a basic level of understanding of office software
- You have past experience in sales including accurate cash handling
- You are outgoing and have a positive attitude
- You have good customer service, interpersonal and organizational skills
- You are proactive and self-motivated
- You are comfortable with moderate to heavy lifting
- Previous tire assembly and ATV parts and accessory experience is an asset
- Good math and mechanical skills are an asset
What You’re Looking For:
This position might be a great fit for you if you’re looking to work in a team environment in a role where no two days are exactly the same. You are a Jack or Jill of all trades who has a mechanical aptitude and likes working with your hands. You are also comfortable working behind a desk and competent working with a computer. You are looking for a role that allows you to grow your sales skills and you enjoy interacting with customers (it’s a bonus if you don’t mind a pun or two - because we like to keep things rolling all day long)!

This role will be geared heavily towards Tires / ATV and Power Sports, but will also be part of our caster business. Job Details

Hours/Week: 40 hours/week
Schedule: Monday - Friday
