Apprentice Technician

Weidner Motors Ltd has an amazing opportunity for the right candidate with the right experience! We are actively seeking an energetic Apprentice Technician in their 2nd, 3rd or 4th year to join our team.

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license
• GM experience is an asset.
• Be able to work independently and assist others as needed in a team
• Punctual and reliable
• Positive attitude
• Monday - Friday with occasional Saturday shifts

Roles & Responsibilities

• Inspecting and diagnosing issues with vehicles to identify any issues or potential problems while documenting all findings
• Reading and interpreting diagnostic test results
• Repairing or replacing malfunctioning parts
• Testing the functionality of repaired vehicles
• Inspecting and diagnosing brake systems, steering mechanisms, transmissions, and engines for damage and wear
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organized work environment
• Properly documenting all work performed, general vehicle condition and future repair requirements
• Ordering parts as required
• Perform recalls
• Communicate daily with service advisors and service management to provide updates on the vehicles status of repairs and to discuss any further issues or concerns
