Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Application Engineer – Teamcenter / PLM to join our dynamic team. This is a full-time, fixed-term position based in Ontario. The successful candidate will be responsible for the administration, implementation, and support of Teamcenter environments for internal use and for clients, ensuring performance, security, and alignment with business requirements.

This role is suited for a technically strong Teamcenter professional who will work across system administration, implementation, and end-user support. You will contribute to high-impact PLM implementations for clients located in multiple jurisdictions.

Employment terms and conditions for this position comply with or exceed the minimum standards set out under the Employment Standards Act, 2000 (Ontario). Overtime will be managed in accordance with the Employment Standards Act, including applicable overtime pay or time off in lieu where permitted by law.

Key Responsibilities:

Teamcenter Administration, Implementation, and Support:

  • Lead the lifecycle of Teamcenter environments, including installation, configuration, upgrades, and migrations
  • Administer user accounts, access controls, security policies, and data models
  • Diagnose and resolve application and system issues in a timely manner
  • Gather, document, and translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Design and implement workflows, processes, and system configurations
  • Support Teamcenter modules such as Rich Client, Active Workspace, Deployment Center, and Dispatcher
  • Perform data migrations while ensuring data integrity
  • Deliver end‑user training and ongoing application support

IT Infrastructure and Networking:

  • Support Teamcenter infrastructure and related IT systems
  • Configure and troubleshoot networking environments (e.g., LAN, VPN, secure tunnels)
  • Diagnose hardware and software interaction issues in complex environments
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including IT, engineering, and business stakeholders

Communication Skills:

  • Communicate effectively with technical and non‑technical stakeholders
  • Prepare and maintain system documentation, procedures, and troubleshooting guides

Qualifications and Experience:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Teamcenter administration, implementation, and support
  • Strong knowledge of Teamcenter architecture, security, workflows, and data models
  • Experience supporting Teamcenter modules including Rich Client and Active Workspace
  • Practical experience with networking concepts and IT troubleshooting
  • Experience with scripting or automation tools for configuration and maintenance
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and documentation skills
  • Proficient professional communication skills in English

Preferred:

  • Experience with Teamcenter customization (e.g., ITK, Java, C++)
  • Experience with other PLM or ERP platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle Agile PLM, Windchill)
  • Familiarity with Siemens NX or related tools
  • Experience with data migration planning and execution
