Full job description
Mike's Communications is seeking a detail-oriented and technically capable Administrative Assistant – Network Operations to support our growing network deployment team. This role plays a critical part in plan analysis, Salesforce data management, inventory coordination, and billing support.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, comfortable working with technical drawings and GPS data, and experienced with data entry and cloud-based software systems.
Key Responsibilities
Network Setup & Facilitation (Drops)
- Read and interpret network plans
- Create and complete Network Service Wire Data Sheets
- Upload documentation to appropriate Google Drive folders
- Process network revisions in Salesforce (bulk import or manual entry)
Plan Analysis & Data Entry (Shore-Ends)
- Review and validate network construction plans and GPS coordinates
- Create and complete Network Construction Data Sheets and Field Sheets
- Upload required documentation to correct Drive folders
- Generate Google Earth worksheets for field crews
- Assist Field Manager in identifying suitable boat launch locations
Plan Revisions & Updates
- Intake and document issues from customers, door-knockers, and technicians
- Escalate design discrepancies to Operations Manager
- Update revisions in Mikesforce, Salesforce, and Drive systems
Inventory Management
- Monitor inventory levels
- Prepare and submit supply orders approximately 1.5 weeks in advance
Billing Support
- Collect and optimize drop/shore-end images for monthly billing
- Assist in preparing As-Built documentation
- Support overall billing procedures and documentation accuracy
Qualifications
- 2+ years of administrative or technical data-entry experience
- Strong ability to read and interpret technical plans and drawings
- Experience working with CRM systems (Salesforce experience preferred)
- Proficiency with CSV imports and data tools
- Comfortable working with GPS coordinates and Google Earth
- Strong organizational and troubleshooting skills
- High attention to detail and ability to meet internal data standards
- Proficiency in Google Workspace (Drive, Sheets, Docs)
Preferred Assets
- Experience in telecommunications, utilities, or network infrastructure
- Familiarity with inventory management processes
- Experience supporting billing or construction documentation workflows

Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 8 months
Pay: $21.00-$24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 37.5 per week
