About us
Due to increased growth, BAP Acoustics is seeking an Acoustc Consultant to join a professional, friendly and supportive team. BAP Acoustics is 100% Canadian owned and operated. The firm has offices in Port Moody and Victoria, BC. The consultancy delivers industry-specific services and solutions to clients across Western Canada and beyond.
BAP Acoustics provides a comprehensive portfolio of services, including acoustic design solutions for a broad range of buildings and residential developments; environmental noise assessments for diverse applications; industrial noise control; and solutions for public auditoria.
Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Acoustic Consultant to join our team . As an Acoustic Consultant, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and solutions to clients in the field of acoustics. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities:
- Provide acoustic design advice to assist design teams throughout design and construction phases of new buildings
- Carry out environmental/industrial noise assessments, including field surveys, data analysis, assessment and reporting
- Collaborate with clients to understand their specific acoustic requirements and develop customized solutions
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and advancements
- Assist in business development activities such as lead generation, client presentations, and proposal writing
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through effective account management
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Acoustics, Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of relavent experience in the field
- Strong knowledge of acoustic principles and noise control techniques
- Proficiency in using acoustic measurement equipment and specialied software (Cadna/A, ODEON)
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide accurate recommendations
- Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively convey technical information to clients
- Proven track record in technology sales or business development is desirable
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Valid driver's license

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
