- One (1) Home Care Nurse in *Sunchild First Nation* on a temporary basis for two (2) years.
- One (1) Community Health Nurse (Public Health/Home Care) in *Duncan's First Nation* on a temporary basis for one (1) year.

Candidates must clearly demonstrate with concrete examples, IN THE PRE-SCREENING QUESTIONS, how they meet the education and experience factors listed in the essential qualifications. Conditions of employment
- Reliability Status Security Clearance.
- Continuous professional registration, without conditions or restrictions, with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta.
- Possess and maintain a valid, unrestricted driver’s license that allows the holder to drive a motor vehicle in Alberta.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, renewed annually.
- Willingness and ability to travel to rural locations on gravel roads.
- Willingness and ability to work overtime on occasion.
- Willingness and ability to work overtime in the event of a public health emergency or outbreak.
- Willingness and ability to complete mandatory education/training relevant to the position.

Occupational Certification: Eligibility for registration as a registered nurse in a province or territory of Canada.
Recent* and significant** independent clinical experience as a registered nurse (RN) in one of the following two areas:
- Public Health/Community Health
- Home Care

- Graduation with a degree* from a recognized post-secondary institution with acceptable specialization in nursing, nursing service administration, nursing education or some other specialty relevant to the position.
- A baccalaureate or higher-level degree, bachelor of science in nursing.

- Experience with immunizations such as mass clinics (seasonal influenza, COVID-19), school or well-child clinics.
- Experience in the treatment and management of Sexually Transmitted Blood Borne Infections (STBBI).
- Experience with maternal-child development, post-partum or newborn assessments.
- Experience in infection control and prevention or Communicable Disease Control (CDC).
- Experience in harm reduction processes and procedures.
- Experience in wound management.
- Experience in palliative care nursing.
- Experience in chronic disease management.
- Experience with mental health programs or in providing mental health services.
Proficiency in speaking a First Nations’ language.
