Position Overview
We're hiring an experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our growing team. You'll work independently, visiting condo units and mechanical rooms to diagnose, repair, and optimize HVAC systems including heat pumps, fan coils, air conditioners, thermostats, and other in-suite components.
You'll be the trusted expert solving real problems for residents — not just doing routine maintenance.
What You'll Do
- Diagnose and repair in-suite HVAC systems: heat pumps, fan coils, air conditioners, humidifiers, vents, thermostats, and other in-suite components
- Service and troubleshoot common area mechanical systems, including MUAs and related components
- Identify failing components and recommend effective solutions
- Perform emergency service calls, minor upgrades, and proactive repairs
- Communicate clearly with residents and property managers about the work performed
- Complete detailed digital service reports for each job
- Follow Hudson's quality and safety standards on every call
What You Bring
- 5+ years of HVAC service experience in condominiums or high-rise buildings, ideally with strong in-suite service experience
- Strong knowledge of in-suite systems: heat pumps (vertical and horizontal), fan coils, air conditioners, thermostats, and related ventilation components
- Experience with mechanical room equipment such as makeup air units (MUAs) is a strong asset
- Ability to work independently and efficiently on service calls
- A clean, professional demeanor and respect for working in people's homes
- Your own tools and a reliable vehicle (mileage reimbursement provided)
- Certifications are a strong asset: 313D or 313A, G2 Gas License, G1 Gas License, ODP Certification

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00-$55.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
