Full job description

The Practice | Toronto

A role at the centre of something meaningful

At The Practice, we are creating more than a place to work. We are building a space where people come to reconnect with themselves, to move through what they carry, and to step into a more expansive way of living.

We are looking for a Licensed Psychotherapist who is deeply attuned, emotionally intelligent, and capable of holding space for meaningful transformation. This is a role for someone who honours both clinical excellence and the human experience, and who is excited to work in a setting that blends therapy with broader wellness practices.

Why The Practice

  • Be part of a supportive, collaborative, and deeply human team

  • Work in an elevated, thoughtfully designed environment

  • Contribute to building something new, inspiring, and impactful

  • Be valued for your unique strengths and perspective

  • Practice in a model that integrates therapy, coaching, and holistic modalities

  • Grow alongside a team committed to both personal and professional evolution

The Role

  • Provide one-on-one therapy sessions rooted in depth, presence, and emotional connectedness

  • Work across modalities, tailoring your approach to meet each client where they are

  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including coaches and wellness practitioners

  • Contribute to the development of programs and client experiences

  • Hold space for complex emotional work with authenticity and integrity

  • Support clients in moving beyond insight into embodied change

Who You Are

  • A licensed practitioner in good standing in Ontario

  • Minimum 8 years of direct experience as a practicing therapist

  • Highly skilled in working with deep emotional processes and complex life situations

  • Experienced in a multi-modality approach to therapy

  • Aligned with the values of The Practice: presence, growth, compassion, and responsibility

  • Open to non-traditional approaches and thinking beyond conventional frameworks

  • A strong team player who values collaboration and shared growth

  • Grounded, self-aware, and committed to your own ongoing development

Additional Experience (Valued)

  • Post-graduate trainings, certifications, or advanced therapeutic modalities

  • Exposure to or understanding of holistic, somatic, or integrative approaches

  • Interest in bridging clinical work with broader wellness practices

How to Apply

If this feels aligned, we would love to hear from you.

Please submit:

  • Your resume

  • A cover letter sharing your approach to therapy and why this role resonates

  • A short video (2–3 minutes) on why you believe you would be a strong fit for The Practice

  • A list of three books, podcasts, or thought leaders who have influenced your personal and professional perspective, and why
