Join Our Corrosion Service Team!

Our team of corrosion and asset integrity experts is committed to protecting infrastructure, extending asset life, and delivering safe, reliable solutions across the country.

In this leadership role, you’ll collaborate with internal technical teams and clients to provide strategic guidance on corrosion management, asset integrity, and infrastructure protection. You will lead impactful projects that safeguard critical assets and improve outcomes for the communities where people live and work.

Leadership, Team Development & Operations

  • Provide leadership and mentorship to the Corrosion Service Project Management Office, including developing technical procedures and processes, delivering training, and furthering solutions in corrosion prevention and asset integrity.
  • Supervise and lead project managers, including hiring, training, coaching, and performance management.
  • Establish team goals, monitor progress, and foster continuous development of skills, knowledge, and competencies.
  • Maintain a collaborative and high-performing team culture.
  • Assign and monitor team resource deployment across multiple concurrent projects, adapting to changing priorities and business growth.
  • Maintain records for certifications and training in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Support leadership in workforce planning, and team development initiatives.
  • Lead implementation and maintenance of a system for data and project management and scheduling using the Quickbase platform or similar.

Project Delivery & Technical Oversight

  • Lead and support project teams in the delivery of corrosion control and integrity programs, including cathodic protection systems, electrical interference mitigation, inspections, and monitoring solutions.
  • Provide and supervise project management support for both internal and client-facing projects.
  • Develop detailed project plans, scopes, and execution strategies to achieve project objectives.
  • Coordinate with project owners and stakeholders to prioritize competing timelines and ensure successful delivery.
  • Facilitate meetings, solve complex technical challenges, and coordinate multidisciplinary project teams.
  • Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with an ISO 9001-certified Quality Management System, client specifications, and work order requirements.
  • Initiate and oversee quality control checks to drive technical accuracy and excellence.
  • Provide expertise in identifying, analyzing, and resolving engineering and project-related issues.

Client Relations & Business Development

  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients by applying expertise in corrosion engineering and asset management to support informed decision-making and optimize lifecycle performance.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, becoming a trusted partner for ongoing corrosion and asset integrity needs.
  • Ensure high levels of client satisfaction through a proactive, solutions-focused, and client-centric approach.
  • Prepare proposals, draft scopes of work, develop cost estimates, and support bids, budgets, and contract development.
  • Work with a diverse client base across industries including oil & gas, utilities, transportation, water/wastewater, and industrial sectors.

Financial & Resource Management

  • Prepare and manage budgets, bids, and cost estimates for project management activities.
  • Oversee operational and project financials including timesheets, expenses, and project expenditures.
  • Provide input into resource planning and forecasting for future projects.
  • Assist with project scoping and contract alignment to ensure efficient project execution.

Standards, Governance & Continuous Improvement

  • Develop, maintain, and deliver training on administrative policies, procedures, and standards for project management functions within the company’s ISO 9001-certified QMS.
  • Ensure alignment with organizational processes and coordinate activities across business units.
  • Support initiatives related to QMS, IT systems, and operational improvements.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of three years of experience leading project management teams in asset integrity or similar professional services.
  • 7+ years of project management experience within manufacturing, supply chain, construction, engineering, or related industries.
  • Proven experience supervising project managers and technical teams in a multidisciplinary environment.
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in engineering (electrical, mechanical, materials, chemical, or related discipline) or equivalent experience.
  • Strong knowledge of corrosion mechanisms, cathodic protection, coatings systems, and inspection methodologies.
  • Familiarity with working in an environment governed by a QMS certified under ISO 9001.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to competing priorities.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and resolve complex issues.
  • Experience in budgeting, cost estimating, and contract support.
  • Professional designation (e.g., P.Eng., CET, AMPP/NACE certification) considered an asset.
  • Experience in sectors such as oil & gas, utilities, transportation, or industrial infrastructure preferred.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.

Expected Compensation: $120,000 – $160,000 per year
