Full job description

Neighbourly Pharmacy is looking for a full-time Pharmacist to join our team at one of our locations in rural Saskatchewan, interior British-Columbia or Vancouver Island.

Patient Focused Care Responsibilities:

  • Deliver clinical services such as medication reviews, chronic disease management and care plan development.
  • Administer vaccines and immunizations
  • Determine appropriateness of drug therapy and monitor for effectiveness, side effects, and interactions
  • Counsel patients on prescriptions, over-the-counter products, and health-related topics, including indications, contraindication, side effects, and proper usage and storage
  • Supervise pharmacy students or provisional pharmacists in performing restricted activities
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, provincial, and regulatory standards governing pharmacy practice
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
  • Assist with daily pharmacy operations and perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Licensed and in good standing with the Saskatchewan/British-Columbia College of Pharmacist
  • Injection certification is required (OAT certification in British-Columbia)
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to thrive in a team environment
