SUMMARY OF TASKS

A Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing maintenance on aseptic beverage processing and packaging equipment in a food manufacturing facility and fast paced environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

· Perform corrective and preventative maintenance on highly technical industrial equipment in a food production environment.

· Work as part of a team to troubleshoot and repair equipment, including but not limited to disassembling and reassembling machinery, working with robotics and downline equipment, etc.

· Reading and understanding operation and maintenance drawings and manuals.

· Monitoring and reducing equipment downtime and improving machine efficiencies

· Maintain accurate records and an organized workspace.

· Must be able to work weekends on a scheduled basis and be flexible on shift.

QUALIFICATIONS

· Having Electrician License or Mechanic License is an asset.

· Aseptic beverage processing and packaging is an asset.

· Experience in the Food Industry is an asset.

· Knowledge of HACCP and GMP is an asset.

· Very strong organizational and communication skills

· Be highly self-motivated in a team environment
