We are currently seeking a dedicated Wills & Estates Litigation Lawyer with 3+ years for a small - mid-size firm in down town Calgary. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in litigation processes, excellent research and writing skills, and the ability to handle complex legal matters efficiently. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse cases, develop legal strategies, and contribute to the firm’s success in a dynamic environment.

Duties

  • Manage and oversee all phases of litigation cases from inception to resolution.
  • Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, briefs, and settlement agreements with precision and clarity.
  • Develop case strategies by analyzing evidence, identifying legal issues, and preparing for court proceedings.
  • Negotiate settlements and alternative dispute resolutions on behalf of clients.
  • Represent clients in court proceedings, depositions, and hearings with professionalism and confidence.
  • Collaborate with clients, witnesses, experts, and other stakeholders to gather information and build strong cases.
  • Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and legal precedents affecting ongoing cases.
