Underground Heavy Equipment Operator – Civil Construction
Location: Kelowna, BC and surrounding areas
Company: Fredex Construction

Fredex Construction is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Heavy Equipment Operator for civil construction projects in the Kelowna area.

Position Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of heavy equipment operating experience in civil construction
  • Must reside in or near Kelowna, BC
  • Must hold a valid Class 5 BC Driver’s License in good standing (driver’s abstract will be requested)
  • Background check will be requested if hired
  • Additional licenses or certifications are considered an asset

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a range of heavy equipment including:
  • John Deere excavators
  • Loaders
  • Bulldozers
  • Skid steers (Bobcat)
  • Lead and execute site work activities with minimal supervision
  • Accurately complete required documentation and paperwork
  • Perform daily inspections and basic maintenance of equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation
  • Work safely around underground and overhead utilities in accordance with all regulations and company protocols
