If you’re a heavy-duty equipment mechanic, hydraulic mechanic, automotive mechanic, marine mechanic, crane mechanic, elevator mechanic, hydraulic technician or millwright with a few years of experience we want you to join Falcon Equipment! This position will be based out of our Nisku, Edmonton location.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Installing and assembling equipment
  • Performing maintenance, repairs and testing on our customers’ various types of equipment focusing on truck-mounted cranes, snow and ice, and rail equipment
  • Performing other duties as required

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of related experience with heavy equipment installations and/or maintenance
  • Their Red Seal Certification as a Heavy Duty Equipment Technician / Mechanic
  • OR will be in their 4th year of their apprenticeship with related heavy equipment experience
  • OR a combination of related education and work experience
  • Hydraulic and electrical experience and knowledge is a definite asset
  • Solid mechanical skills with the ability to troubleshoot problems and read schematics
  • The ability to maneuver in and around heavy equipment
  • The ability to work independently
  • Your own tools
  • Welding experience is a definite asset
