Full job description

Join our team! Vanway Kitchen + Bath has a long track record in the community as a reputable builder of top quality cabinets and countertops. We’re looking for a team player who can help out around the shop and begin learning the basics of sanding, staining, and assembling cabinets. No experience needed – training will be provided!

Here’s what we’ll need you to do

  • Learn about our products and processes
  • Sand cabinets and apply stains and finishes
  • Assemble pieces into a finished unit
  • Assist cabinetmakers in the shop or job site
  • Carefully load and unload products on our trucks
  • Drive the company vehicle for deliveries
  • Tidy up the cabinet shop or customer's job site

You’ll be a good fit for our team if you:

  • Are punctual and dependable
  • Are a team player with a great attitude
  • Take pride in completing a job to the highest standards
  • Can read and understand blueprints
  • Can operate power tools and hand tools safely
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of safety principles
  • Have a Class 5 drivers license with a clean driving abstract
  • Can lift heavy items up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
