General Duties

On-Call production employees supplement our full-time staff for vacation relief, absenteeism relief, and fluctuations in production demand. Hours per week are varied, and availability for all shifts (Days, Afternoons, Midnights) is preferred.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Various wrapping and packaging duties
  • Maintaining a clean and hazard-free work station
  • Assisting with quality control

Qualifications

  • Completion of secondary school (OSSD or equivalent)
  • Completion of post-secondary education an asset
  • Quick learner with leadership qualities, superior communication and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to quickly identify and take action in a safe manner
  • Ability to safely lift up to 40 lbs
  • Forklift experience or certification is considered an asset
  • Previous experience in manufacturing, particularly in the food industry, is an asset
  • Flexible availability for all shifts

Shift Premiums

  • Afternoons $1.14 / hour
  • Midnights $1.49 / hour
