Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the proper operation and upkeep of our facilities and equipment. Ideally will have produce factory or food factory equipment experience. This role is essential for maintaining a safe, efficient, and well-functioning environment. Being a part of the maintenance team, you will perform routine inspections, repairs, and preventive maintenance tasks to support the overall operations of the organization.

Duties

  • Conduct regular inspections of buildings, machinery, and equipment to identify issues or potential hazards.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency repair needs.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
  • Assist in installation of new equipment or fixtures as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations during all maintenance activities.
  • Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe for all staff members.
  • Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance schedules and minimize disruptions.

Experience

  • Proven experience in general maintenance or a related field is preferred.
  • Knowledge of electrical systems, carpentry, and basic troubleshooting skills are highly desirable.
  • Experience in maintenance, especially in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to read technical manuals is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Prior experience working in a fast-paced environment is advantageous but not required. This position offers an opportunity to contribute significantly to the safety and functionality of our facilities while developing valuable skills across multiple trades.
