Full job description

TELUS and its premier vendor partners are looking for candidates to join our expanding call centre sales team, representing TELUS Communications. This position offers full-time hours. We will provide all the knowledge and training on-site; previous sales or call centre experience is an asset, not required. The main requirement of the role is a positive attitude and a willingness to learn new things!

Working with our premier partners your duties will include:

  • Conducting outbound calls to promote and sell TELUS products and services, with a focus on achieving sales targets.
  • Engaging customers in informative discussions about the benefits and features of TELUS offerings, and skillfully presenting additional products or services based on customer needs.
  • Initiating outbound calls to create awareness in the community regarding services and new promotions.
  • Handling inbound calls to address customer inquiries and concerns, providing timely and effective solutions.
  • Attending to customer needs, actively listening, and responding to questions with professionalism.
  • Ensuring a high-quality customer experience while maintaining confidentiality of customer information.
  • Collaborating with a dedicated and passionate team to collectively deliver a best-in-class customer experience.

Qualifications of the Call Centre Sales Agent:

  • Passionate about customer service and sales.
  • Bilingual French and English required
  • Demonstrates an empathetic and caring approach in customer interactions.
  • Exhibits a strong work ethic with a commitment to achieving sales targets and delivering exceptional service.
  • Maintains a positive attitude, fostering a constructive and supportive work environment.
  • Ability to work independently and excel in multitasking to effectively manage various responsibilities.

Additional Requirements:

  • Ability to work full-time on a rotating roster: Monday to Friday 7:50am -3:50pm/11:00am-7:00pm, Saturdays and Sundays 9am-5pm up to twice a month.
  • Previous experience in customer service, sales, or call centre roles is required.
