In addition to LTL transportation, we offer our clients additional services such as, North American logistics, expedite services, and Canada-wide coverage to name a few.

Shift:

  • Afternoon Shift - Monday to Friday, 3 pm to 11:30 pm
  • Night Shift - Sunday to Thursday, 11 pm to 7:30 am

The purpose of this position is the loading and unloading of customer's freight in a productive, safe, error free, and time sensitive manner. A Forklift Operator will ensure freight is properly loaded and/or unloaded with the proper bill control and supporting documentation. Please note, licensed forklift operators must meet Speedy Transport Safety Training standards.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Load/unload trailers according to company procedures.
  • Identification of OS&D freight.
  • Completion of necessary documentation with care.
  • Adhere to company health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Ensure a clean workspace and carry out housekeeping duties when assigned.

Position Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years previous warehouse experience is an asset.
  • 1-2 years previous counterbalance forklift experience is preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs
  • Cross dock experience is considered an asset.
  • Written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and in a time sensitive environment.
  • Criminal record search will be requested upon conditional offers.
