Summary

Green Gables Golf Course is currently seeking a Full-Time and Part-Time Food & Beverage Server to join our team. Reporting directly to the Food & Beverage Supervisor, this role is key to providing outstanding service to our members and guests.

As a Food & Beverage Server, you will primarily work in our clubhouse and on refreshment carts, ensuring efficient and friendly service. Your goal will be to exceed guest expectations while upholding the highest standards of hospitality and professionalism.

You would receive an hourly wage of $18.00 per hour, plus 100% of gratuities.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and serve customers in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Ensure order accuracy and confirm each item meets quality standards.
  • Anticipate and address customer needs throughout their golfing experience.
  • Serve customers on the course while operating the refreshment cart.
  • Keep the lounge area, service stations, and refreshment carts clean and organized.
  • Follow daily food preparation procedures and safety protocols.
  • Process customer payments and handle cash transactions accurately.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate customer service.
  • Support and adhere to all safety requirements and quality standards outlined in the PEI Occupational Health and Safety General Regulations, the PEI Occupational Health and Safety Act, and Island Coastal’s Safety Management System.
  • Use your experience to identify health and safety deficiencies, support management in implementing solutions, or report issues when required.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Must be 19 years of age or older.
  • Must be able to work until October 12, 2026.
  • Reliable transportation to and from work (there is no public transportation to this location).
  • Responsible Beverage Service Certificate
  • Experience in food service or hospitality is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
  • Excellent customer service skills and effective communication abilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Basic food preparation skills; bartending experience is a plus.
