About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and detail‑oriented Evening Wear Seamstress to join our atelier. This position is ideal for someone who excels in luxury garment construction, delicate fabrics, and couture‑level finishing.

Responsibilities

  • Construct and finish garments including gowns, cocktail dresses, and special‑occasion pieces
  • Perform alterations, adjustments, and custom tailoring
  • Work from patterns and samples, interpreting technical sketches
  • Operate industrial sewing machines and specialty equipment
  • Handle delicate materials (silk, chiffon, lace, beading, satin) with precision
  • Collaborate with design and production teams to meet deadlines
  • Maintain high standards of craftsmanship and consistency

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional sewing experience in garment construction or high‑end alterations
  • Strong knowledge of luxury fabrics, advanced stitching, and finishing techniques
  • Ability to work independently with excellent attention to detail
  • Experience in a fast‑paced atelier or production environment is an asset
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and commitment to quality
