About the Position

Summit Tools is seeking an entry-level, full-time Shopify Developer to work alongside our existing web team onsite at our head office in Burnaby, BC. The ideal candidate will be responsible for helping design and build a large e-commerce store using the Shopify platform. You will be working alongside another Shopify developer.

Required Skills and Experience

- Familiarity with customizing Shopify themes

- Solid design fundamentals

- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, Shopify liquid code

- Proficiency with Photoshop and graphics/photo preparation

- Making sure sites are responsive on all devices and browsers

- Excellent communication skills, punctuality and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

- 2+ years of Shopify Development

- Knowledge of SEO best practices

- Product photo preparation for web

- Experience working on e-commerce sites in a team environment
