Eaton’s ES AMER PCS division is currently seeking a Intern, Field Service Representative (12-month) - Whitby, ON, Canada.

This position is scheduled to start in September 2026 .

The hourly rate for this position is $21 - $26 per hour . Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

This position is responsible for working with the Electrical Engineering Service & Systems (EESS) group to provide on-site engineering and technical assistance in areas of electrical equipment maintenance, new equipment commissioning, custom electrical equipment modification, wiring, controls, drives and breakers.


Essential Functions:
  • Assist Field Service personnel in a wide variety of electrical work
  • Assist in creating detailed and quality reports to customers covering the scope of work performed
  • Follow required safety practices
  • Manage paperwork and office procedures, as required
  • Perform all work at a high level of quality
  • Business travel to customer sites required, utilizing company vehicle
  • Be willing and available to work evenings and weekends, as required by our customers. Travel may be required
  • Perform all job functions with adherence to Eaton’s Philosophy and Values, as well as Safety and Environmental standards
  • Perform other duties, as required

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications
• Currently enrolled in or recently completed a Co-Op Program in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology.
  • Possess and maintain a valid and unrestricted driver’s license
  • This position does not offer relocation. Candidates must reside within 120 kms of the work location
  • No sponsorship provided. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Canada on an ongoing basis without company sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications
  • 0 - 5 years of experience in manufacturing, electrical controls and/or power distribution products.
  • Strong computer skills in Word, Excel and Outlook
