Position Overview

As a Fleet Dispatcher, you’ll play a central role in coordinating daily delivery operations, supporting drivers, and ensuring smooth communication across teams. You’ll be the heartbeat of our dispatch system—balancing efficiency, customer service, and real-time decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and schedule daily delivery routes for maximum efficiency and timeliness
  • Maintain constant communication with drivers to manage updates, delays, and rerouting
  • Monitor traffic, weather, and road conditions to proactively adjust routes
  • Collaborate with customer service to meet client delivery expectations
  • Handle quoting and pricing for new load bookings
  • Use dispatch software and load boards (Loadlink, DAT) to assign and track loads
  • Provide on-call support and ensure dispatch coverage during weekends and emergencies
  • Build strong relationships with drivers and clients to ensure smooth operations
  • Maintain accurate records and provide status updates to internal teams

What We’re Looking For:

This position is only open to experienced and serious candidates. Applications without relevant dispatch experience will not be considered.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of dispatching experience in logistics or transportation
  • High school diploma (post-secondary education in logistics or business is an asset)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Strong knowledge of regional transportation routes and roadways
  • Experience with dispatch tools such as Loadlink, DAT, and Xpert Dispatch (or similar software)
  • Exceptional multitasking, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Calm under pressure with a collaborative, team-first attitude
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Must be able to reliably commute to our office or plan to relocate before starting

Pay: $55,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
