Cable Monkey Inc. is seeking skilled professionals to contribute to our success. We are currently hiring for a part-time and Full time on-site Cable Technician roles in the Greater Toronto Area, Canada.

Our ideal candidates will possess:

  • Relevant experience in cabling installation and maintenance.
  • A proven track record in structured cabling and low-voltage systems.
  • Residency in Canada, as this position does not offer relocation assistance.

About the Role:
As a Cable Technician, you will be responsible for installing, terminating, labeling, and testing network and structured cabling for our commercial clients. Your daily tasks will include:

  • Pulling and routing cables.
  • Assisting with server room, rack, and cabinet installations.
  • Supporting deployments for fiber, surveillance, access control, and audio-visual systems.

The role requires proficiency in common hand tools and test equipment, adherence to safety procedures, and collaboration with project leads and fellow technicians to meet project timelines.

Qualifications Include:

  • Hands-on experience with cable pulling, routing, terminating, labeling, and testing of low-voltage lines.
  • Knowledge of structured cabling standards and best practices for commercial environments.
  • Basic understanding of low-voltage systems and the ability to follow safety regulations.
  • Familiarity with hand tools and test equipment such as cable testers, punch-down tools, and drills.
  • Previous experience as a cable, telecom, low-voltage, or network technician is an asset.
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Ability to work in physically demanding environments and lift moderate loads.
  • Reliable transportation to various client sites in the Greater Toronto Area.
  • Authorized to work in Canada.
