The Gear Centre Group is hiring Apprentice and Journeyman Heavy Duty Equipment Technician for our Surrey Branch.
Work on drivetrain components for commercial trucks, heavy equipment, and mobile machinery, including transmissions, differentials, axles, transfer cases, and hydraulic wet kit systems.

What You Will Do

  • Diagnose, remove, repair, and install drivetrain components
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
  • Support rebuilding, remanufacturing, failure analysis, and dyno testing
  • Follow technical manuals, rebuild procedures, and safety standards

What We Are Looking For

  • Registered Apprentice or Red Seal Journeyman Heavy Duty Equipment Technician / Truck and Transport Mechanic
  • Commercial truck or heavy-duty repair experience
  • Strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic troubleshooting skills
  • Transmission, differential, transfer case, or drivetrain experience considered an asset
  • Commercial vehicle inspection experience considered an asset
  • Positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn
