About the Role

Tri-Arc Gases & Welding Supplies Ltd. is looking for an experienced DZ Cylinder Truck Driver to handle local deliveries of compressed gas cylinders and welding products throughout Southern Ontario. This is a hands-on, physical driving role that involves loading, unloading, securing, and delivering high-pressure cylinders to industrial customers. If you have experience with cylinder trucks, bulk packs, or regulated materials, this role will feel familiar from day one.

Tri-Arc is a fully independent, family-owned company based in Cambridge, Ontario, supplying industrial gases and welding products to manufacturers, fabricators, and contractors across the region. Our drivers are a key part of our operation and are expected to work safely, professionally, and efficiently.

All candidates will be required to provide references and a current driver’s abstract.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform local deliveries of compressed gas cylinders, welding supplies, and related products
  • Operate DZ-class delivery trucks in compliance with Ontario regulations and company safety standards
  • Load, unload, secure, and transport cylinders using proper handling procedures
  • Follow all safety requirements related to hazardous and regulated materials
  • Complete delivery paperwork and maintain accurate records
  • Provide professional, courteous service at customer sites
  • Maintain awareness of product knowledge and safe handling practices

Qualifications

  • Valid Class DZ driver’s licence with a clean driver’s abstract
  • 3–5 years of experience operating DZ or similar commercial vehicles
  • Strong safety awareness and attention to detail
  • Experience with industrial gases, welding supplies, or hazardous materials is an asset (training provided)
  • Reliable, organized, and capable of meeting daily delivery schedules
  • Good communication skills and a professional attitude
  • Physically capable of performing manual handling and cylinder deliveries

Compensation & Benefits

  • Total annual earnings potential: $60,000–$90,000+, depending on experience, overtime, and workload
