Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable and experienced Long Haul Driver to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting freight over long distances, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining the integrity of cargo. This role requires a strong focus on safety, vehicle maintenance, and efficient route management to support our company's logistics operations.

ResponsibilitiesTasks

  • Load and unload goods
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
  • Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
  • Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
  • Receive and relay information to central dispatch
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption

  • Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
