Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Dump Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting materials to and from job sites while ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the dump truck. This role requires a strong understanding of heavy equipment operation and a commitment to safety standards.

Responsibilities

  • Operate dump trucks to transport materials such as gravel, sand, and asphalt to designated locations.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe operating condition.
  • Load and unload materials safely, ensuring proper weight distribution.
  • Maintain accurate records of materials transported and delivery schedules.
  • Collaborate with site supervisors to determine delivery needs and schedules.
  • Follow all safety protocols and regulations while on the job site.
  • Perform minor automotive repairs and maintenance on the truck as needed.
  • Assist in loading/unloading freight when required, utilizing forklift equipment as necessary.
  • Top candidates we will consider will have trailer endorsement to haul float and be able to load and unload machines from float.
  • Minimum 4 years experience driving dump truck
  • Clean, lubricate and perform other maintenance as required.

Qualifications

  • Valid commercial driver’s license class 1 or 3 with a clean driving record.
  • Proven experience in heavy equipment operation, particularly dump trucks.
  • Ability to haul float trailer and load / unload equipment.
  • Strong knowledge of traffic laws and regulations related to commercial driving.
  • Ability to perform basic automotive repairs and maintenance on vehicles.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices.
