One of our divisions, Capital Ready Mix, is currently accepting applications for the following position in St. John's:

Ready Mix Driver

Capital Ready Mix is hiring a Seasonal Full-Time Ready Mix Driver for the upcoming construction season. We are looking for a dependable, safety-focused individual who takes pride in their work and performs well in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate and drive a ready mix truck to deliver concrete to various job sites
  • Assess delivery locations to ensure safe and efficient unloading
  • Perform daily inspections and routine maintenance on the ready mix truck
  • Maintain cleanliness of the truck and ensure proper care of equipment

Requirements

  • Valid Class 3 Driver’s License
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to manage daily assignments efficiently under dispatcher direction
  • Willingness to learn company products and procedures
  • Previous ready mix or commercial driving experience considered an asset

Compensation

  • Signing bonus available based on previous ready mix experience
  • Overtime available after 10 hrs and weekends as required
