Rondivills Kennels in Richmond is looking for a friendly, reliable animal lover to join our team.

We are a long-established kennel with over 40 years of experience caring for dogs and cats. We are looking for someone who enjoys working with animals, has a positive attitude, and takes pride in keeping pets safe, happy, clean, and well cared for.

This is a great opportunity for someone with kennel, dog daycare, grooming, bathing, or animal-care experience. For the right person, there may also be an opportunity to grow into a lead hand role over time.

Duties include:

Caring for dogs and cats in a clean, safe, positive environment
Supervising dog daycare and play areas
Feeding, walking, cleaning, and basic animal care
Monitoring pets for comfort, behaviour, and wellbeing
Helping with bathing, brushing, and basic grooming support if experienced
Keeping kennel areas, yards, and common areas clean and organized
Assisting customers with drop-offs and pick-ups
Working as part of a team and following daily routines
We are looking for someone who is:
Kind, calm, and confident with dogs
Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
Friendly and positive with staff and customers
Able to speak and understand English clearly
Comfortable with physical work and being on your feet
Able to work weekends or holidays when needed
Experienced with dog daycare, kennels, grooming, or pet care
Able to get to work reliably
Driver’s licence and vehicle preferred
This position would suit someone who truly loves animals, enjoys an active workday, and wants to be part of a happy, caring kennel environment.
Part-time or full-time hours may be available for the right person.

Wage will depend on experience and level of responsibility.
